Bachelor thesis: Bitcoin & social media
"Analysing the Influence of Social Media Influencers on the Bitcoin Price" (Leibniz Universitaet Hannover, 2021). Collected Bitcoin prices, Twitter data, and Google Trends; classified tweet sentiment with TextBlob, BERT, and RoBERTa; trained an ARIMA model on combinations of financial and sentiment features. Result: the combination of price history and tweet-sentiment popularity predicted best - demonstrating a measurable correlation between social media and Bitcoin price movement.
This portfolio
Built end-to-end: Spring Boot API serving story chapters and projects from PostgreSQL, rendered by Next.js. The portfolio is itself the proof.
